"Love your own" has never been truer in the case of ULS' very own Sales Manager Ty Chea. Aside from promoting our development projects among investors, he is also a proud buyer of a condo at Rose Apple Square.
Ty has 17 years of experience as a real estate professional in Australia and six months in Cambodia as part of ULS. He and his wife are also avid real estate investors who own a broad spectrum of property types - landed property, a borey, land, and an apartment.
“We believe in diversifying one's investment portfolio. It also gives us flexibility regarding where and how we want to live when we retire later”, Ty shares in a chat with the Rose Apple Square team. When evaluating a property, Ty’s number one consideration is still location. The amenities and nearby facilities are also crucial considerations as they contribute to convenience, livability, value, and demand. These factors will influence the property's future price for re-selling or leasing.
Ty admits he has an unfair advantage over the average buyer as he works for ULS. He gets to see behind the scenes and learn about the project in a much more detailed manner. He is also more familiar with the developer and project management team. This convinced him that ULS has both the local experience and the international talent to pull off quality projects.
Like most locals, Ty loves Siem Reap for its rich history. With the recent infrastructure upgrades and beautification of roads, he also feels confident of the city’s future. A centrally located property with a good mix of facilities such as Rose Apple Square makes for an ideal second home for Ty in Siem Reap.
To those just starting out to get into real estate investment, Ty leaves a valuable tip. “Get to know the developer well. If you can, do a site visit of their completed projects. It's better if you visit a project within a similar price point.”
